Six Bard Student Athletes Honored in the 2024 Division III Academic All-District At-Large Teams
Six players from Bard College’s women’s lacrosse and men’s volleyball teams have been honored in the 2024 Division III Academic All-District At-Large Teams, an award that recognizes the nation’s top student athletes for their combined performance on the court and in the classroom.
Bard MFA Program Presents Off Site, the Class of 2025 Thesis Performances and Exhibition, July 11–21, at Basilica Hudson and Time & Space Limited in Hudson, New York
The Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College (Bard MFA) presents Off Site, the Class of 2025 thesis performances and exhibition, which brings together the culminating work of third-year MFA candidates in the disciplines of moving image, music/sound, painting, photography, sculpture, and writing. This year, the exhibition will be split between two galleries in Hudson, New York: Basilica Hudson and Time & Space Limited. The show is curated by Mary Fellios.
Al-Quds Bard Civic Engagement and Invisible University for Ukraine Win 2024 MacJannet Prizes
Al-Quds Bard Civic Engagement Program at Al-Quds Bard College in Palestine won first place for $10,000 in the 2024 MacJannet Prize for Global Citizenship, and Invisible University for Ukraine at Central European University in Austria won second place for $7,500. Established by the Talloires Network and the MacJannet Foundation, the prizes recognize exceptional student community engagement initiatives at Talloires Network member universities and financially support their ongoing public service efforts.
