Bard
College students majoring in economics or a related field (such as political
science, finance, or math) have the option of taking part in a 3+2 program that
leads to both an undergraduate liberal arts degree (B.A.) and the Levy M.S.
degree in five years. To take part in the combined B.A./M.S. program, students
must first meet all of their undergraduate major and distribution requirements
within the allotted three years. At the beginning of their fourth year,
students enter the two-year Levy M.S. program. Students must complete all of
the core courses and their choice of electives to meet the requirements for the M.S.
degree.
Transfer
students may apply to the 3+2 program after enrolling at Bard as
undergraduates, with a major in economics, economics and finance, or other
relevant field. Upon completion of the College’s undergraduate requirements, a
student may apply to the Levy M.S. program during their senior year.
