Richard D. Wolff, Professor of Economics at U-Mass., Amherst, will be speaking on "Capitalism and Crisis: Why and What Next," this Friday, Dec. 5th, at a Faculty Seminar at 3:25 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to attend this timely presentation! *

A graduate of both Harvard and Yale (Ph.D. 1969), Wolff is one of America's most prominent socialist economists. He has been a professor at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, since 1973. His books (written in collaboration with his colleague Stephen A. Resnick) include "Economics: Marxian versus Neoclassical, Knowledge and Class," and "Class Theory and History." He was also a co-founder of the journal "Rethinking Marxism."
