On Friday, October 3, 2008, student, faculty, staff and parent members of the BHSEC Community honored Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer and New York City Council Member Rosie Mendez for their generous support which has resulted in the beautiful newly tiled floors throughout our building. Mr. Mike Mirasola of the NYC School Construction Authority was also thanked for his unfailing support in this and all the BHSEC building improvements.

   Along with presentations and remarks by Principal Ray Peterson and Dean of Administration Martha Olson, were celebratory performances by members of the BHSEC Chamber Ensemble and members of the BHSEC Step Team.
