The Department of Safety and Security is located in the Old Gym, adjacent to Olin Humanities. The Security Dispatcher's office, as well as the Patrol Office, are located on the first floor. Security functions 24 hours a day. The Dispatcher's telephone numbers are: x7460 (normal business) and x7777 (emergencies). The Director and Assistant Director have offices on the second floor and can be reached at x7461 and x7462, respectively. Their office hours are generally 9am–5pm and 6pm–2am, respectively. An open-door policy prevails. Community members should feel free to discuss policy, personnel, personal problems, and any other concerns at any time, with confidentiality assured.
