New Faculty Inquiries

If you are interested in applying to teach in L&T 2008, please send the following items to Joan Retallack, director, Language & Thinking Program, Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, NY 12504:

1. letter of interest which gives a sense of your teaching philosophy and practice
2. current CV
3. list of three references with phone numbers
4. 3 letters of recommendation (from references) which can be sent under separate cover
5. 2 sets of teaching evaluations from most recent courses taught
6. writing sample (prose sample, preferably an essay. No page or content requirement)

You will receive a confirmation e-mail and/or letter once your application is complete. Until you receive confirmation of completion, please assume your application is not complete. It is a good idea to check in a week or two after you send in your materials just to check the status of your application.
