Opportunity Program Staff

Ariana Stokas, Director Ariana holds a BA (philosophy of art) from Bard College and a MA from Columbia University Teachers College. She is currently completing work on her PhD in Philosophy and Education at Columbia University Teachers College. Ariana has served as an advisory board member on Learning Through the Arts at the Guggenheim Museum, and she has been affiliated with the Global Action Project, and the Harlem School of the Arts. Ariana's recent work at Barnard College focused especially on improving student success in the biological sciences. Nick Chapman, Assistant to the Director Nick holds a BA (Education/Camp Administration) from George Fox University. Recently moving here from Oregon, Nick has held several jobs after graduation including Program Director of a summer camp, Media Center manager for a High school, and most recently as a Math Tutor. Nick also is an assistant coach for the Bard women’s soccer and lacrosse programs. Previously he was the head coach for the Newberg High women’s soccer team.
