Uploading Personal Webpages

For Bard Faculty, Staff, and Students

1. Read Bard College's Computing Policies

2. Create Your Webpage

3. Upload Your Webpage

Before you upload your webpage to the server, some Bard staff members* may need to configure their webspace.
*Staff hired before 2005 will need to complete this step.

Now you are ready to upload your webpage to the server using an FTP (file transfer protocol) application. Note: If this is not a personal website, but a club website, you cannot configure the web space yourself. You must request web space from the Student Activities Office.

Click below to get to detailed instructions on transferring your files:

Note: If you do not not have WS_FTP or Fetch installed on your personal computer, you may download them from our server or they are installed on every computer in the Henderson Computer Resources Center labs.
