Getting started extracting tracks from audio CD's.

  1. Insert an audio CD into the CD Rom drive on your computer.
  2. Launch the "Toast Audio Extractor" application form the launcher on the desktop.

The Application will open to the window in Figure 1.

Select the tracks you wish to extract by clicking on their names in the center.

TIP: Hold down the SHIFT key while clicking to select a consecutive group of tracks.
Hold down the COMMAND key (The one with the Apple and cloverleaf symbols) to select multiple tracks in any order.

Click the Extract button to extract the selected tracks.

Navigate to an appropriate location to save the tracks.

Click save.

Converting Aiff files to MP3:
By default, Toast Audio Extractor saves audio files in the AIFF format.

To convert your files to the MP3 format, you must use an additional appication called BladeEnc.
