Fall 2008
One hundred and one Moodle course sites were created for the Fall semester. Over 1500 Bard users are accessing materials, sharing resources and building new resources on Moodle.

Whille WebCT will remain available as a repository through May 2009, Faculty with courses on WebCT are urged to move any Spring 2009 courses to Moodle for the coming semester -- please contact Deb Sarlin to learn more about the migration process. WebCT archived courses are in the process of being carefully moved to Moodle.

Summer 2008
WebCT Courses are being migrated to Moodle for the Fall semester. WebCT will remain available through May 2009. Faculty with courses on WebCT are urged to work with Deb Sarlin in Curricular Computing and Instructional Technology to plan for this coming change.

The Workshop in Language & Thinking uses Moodle for program planning, faculty resource sharing and communication, and student course sites.

Spring 2008
Sven Anderson, Odile Chilton, Tamar Khitarishvili, Stephanie Kufner, Hoyt Long, Barbara Luka, Bill Mullen, Eric Myers, Susan Rogers, Kristin Scheible and their students evaluate Moodle -accessing course sites for their resources and communication.

Our testers from the Fall reported finding Moodle easy to use and
suggested that Moodle might be a good replacement for WebCT.

System needs further testing and customization. Web Services creates a 'look and feel' for this new customizable tool.
