Riverwalk will begin with a teach-in at 4:00 in Highland Poughkeepsie. If you need transportation from the Poughkeepsie train station to Highland, we will be providing shuttles starting at 2:00. Please contact us if you can drive a carpool!

The teach-in will begin at 4:00 and will include local activists, professors, and organizers. Afterward, we will have a camp fire and fire circle and potluck dinner. Please bring a vegetarian/ vegan dish to share if you can! Please keep in mind that We are counting on generous donations of housing and food for the entire walk, so any contributions that can be made will be greatly appreciated. This also means that we must be extremely considerate of the places in which we stay. As enviromentally-conscious people, we hope to make amaximum impact with our message and a minimum impact with our trash. We will all work together to make this a great experience for everyone!
