Dr. Kabdebó is an author and scholar who has been affiliated with numerous universities in the US, Ireland and in Guyana. He has published on various topics and is an exciting lecturer. He has left Hungary in 1956, but has maintained his ties with Hungarian culture.

"Countries in Transition"
Discussion Forum and Dinner
Bard Hall, New York City,

It will start with presentations on countries in transition by those Bard students who have a special affiliation with the given country/region and who took place in the preparation of the project. Countries to be presented are those presently undergoing changes in Central and Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, Asia and Africa. During the presentations, dinner will be served to participants. Then we will proceed with the discussion where any participant can pose questions to any of the presenters or participatants.
