Fellowships and Scholarships

Overview
The Career Development Office supports Bardians in applying for fellowship and scholarship opportunities. We offer one-on-one fellowship and scholarship advising for students and recent graduates. Our office encourages students and recent alumni/ae to call our office and schedule an appointment to receive assistance with fellowship proposals and applications.

Our annual Fellowships & Scholarships Guide includes many prestigious and remunerative awards available to undergraduate as well as graduate students. Most of these opportunities are merit-based with special attention given to financial need. The fellowships, scholarships, competitions, research programs, and career-oriented internships described are dynamic opportunities for outstanding students to gain additional academic or career-related experience. These awards are intended to offer qualified students the opportunity to pursue additional study, research, internships, career mentoring and/or specific projects.

Awards are organized into four categories: fellowships and scholarships requiring Bard's nomination, fellowships and scholarships requiring Bard's endorsement, undergraduate fellowships and scholarships, and graduate fellowships and scholarships. Opportunities for students of color, and specific populations may be found in one of the four larger categories. Download additional opportunities and resources for students of color here. A schedule of application deadlines is included.

In addition to the annual Fellowships & Scholarships Guide, our office houses a fellowship and scholarship library, including Peterson's, Kaplan's and the Princeton Review's Scholarship Guides. International students may consult Peterson's Scholarships for Study in the USA & Canada and the Institute of International Education's Funding for United States Study. See the Resources section below for links and additional sources of information regarding scholarships.
