ABOUT THE COLLABORATORS

Joe Stanco

Graduated in 1999 from Bard College, majored in Integrated Arts. Managing editor of Bard Observer 1998-99. Created and maintained Observer website 1998-99. Assistant webmaster, Bard College 1998-99; Extensive work creating Web pages for faculty, college departments, and commercial ventures. Adept with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe GoLive, Adobe After Effects and Macromedia Director. Skilled with Javascript, PHP scripting langauge, MySQL database language, UNIX operating system.

Nate Schwartz

Graduated in 1999 from Bard College, majored in Literature. Editor-in-Chief of Bard Observer 1998-99, and designer of Observer 1997-99. Designer of Bard Papers 1997-98. For two years, editor and designer Sui Generis, a magazine of foreign-language poetry and fiction and translation. Winner of William Lockwood Prize for intellectual contributions to the College, 1999. Awarded two teaching assistantships (Robert Bosch and Fulbright) in Germany for 1999-2000 academic year.
