Programming Speed Dial on Digital Phones

1. Depending on which Digital Telephone you have, the series E or the Series 3 NEC digital phone, press either theFNCbutton or the Feature button, with the receiver ON the hook.
2. Press the speed dial button you wish to program
3. Enter the telephone number you wish to program, including 9 if it is an “off Campus” number.
4. Press either the FNC or Feature button. (Again, depending on which of these two options appears on your telephone)
5. If the programming has been completed correctly, the LCD screen will read SPD SET.

Finally, pick up the receiver, press the speed dial button you have just programmed, and verify that it is set correctly.
