Bard's Academic Resources Center (BARC) offers drop-in writing tutoring sessions every Sunday-Thursday from 7-11 PM. BARC's trained peer tutors work with writers of all abilities, whether you are struggling to start a paper or simply want a critical reader to respond to a final draft. They can act as a sounding board as you talk through your ideas, help you to refine an argument or your essay's organization, explain grammar rules, etc. (Note: BARC tutors will not fix grammar mistakes for you). Students are encouraged to make an appointment for a time slot, but you may also simply "drop in" without one.
