Mustafa Abu Sway
Mustafa Abu Sway is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Islamic Studies at Al Quds University in Palestine, and has directed both the research center and graduate studies in Islamic Studies there. He completed his BA at Bethlehem University (Palestine) and his masters and doctoral degrees in philosophy at Boston College. He has also served as Fulbright Scholar in Residence at Florida Atlantic University's Honors College, Research Fellow at the International Islamic University in Malaysia and Visiting Scholar this semester at Bard College. He has also lectured and participated in numerous meetings at Israeli universities and rabbinical training institutions. His most extensive publications concern the medieval philosopher and Sufi Al-Ghazzali, however he also written and lectured widely in scholarly and popular venues on contemporary issues in Islamic studies.
