The Brave Young Boy
By S.T.

Many years ago, there lived a young boy. His name was Red Fox. Red Fox lived in the forest with many other Indian families. There were many trees that the Indians had to chop down because there were many families without houses. They had to live in tents.

One day the chief came out of his house and saw that there were too many families living in little tents. So he went for a walk in the forest and he found a really big tree. He said if only I knew someone strong enough to chop the tree down. And then Red Fox came from behind. The chief knew that Red Fox was strong enough to chop down the tree. The chief told him that if Red Fox chops the tree down, it will be a big tree. So Red Fox made a very strong ax head. He is afraid that he is not going to be able to chop down the tree, but he did it! Red Fox is a hero. The chief gave him a lot of money and thanked him.
