Once upon a time by the Hudson River There was a boy named Streaking Arrow. He liked to help cut down trees with his dad. He was 10 years old. He made tree forts in lots of trees. One was three stories high. Streaking Arrow helped his dad make a fence. When he was finished it was 100 feet long. It helped the tribe keep out enemies. He made lookout towers too.

One day enemies came to attack. Now Streaking Arrow had to make bows and arrows. He had to make a lot of them. They were loosing. Finely one of the brave warriors was sneaking up on the other side. He snuck up on the chief and killed him. They had won! They had won the battle! We had a feast that night. For the first time I was able to help the men hunt. I had caught a rabbit. That night I slept very well. The next morning we had the leftovers for breakfast. That day I started making a arrow-head.

A week later I was spying on my sister she is seven years old. I watched her make a Minnie teepee. That night the wise man told us a story. He told us a story about a monster coming and knocking everything in its path. First I was a little scarred. Then he said that the monster got sick, he also said that the monster had no place to go. The monster was twenty feet high. Thats high! That night I had a bad dream. I had a dream that a monster was coming to get me. I was very scared because don't usually have bad dreams.

Streaking Arrow was thirteen now, he had a girl friend. Her name was Moon-Shine He had just met her a few day ago. She lived right next door to him. Later that day they herd a noise. It wasn't any regular noise. It was like footsteps, but the had never herd before. It sounded like lots of people. It was enemies! They where running as fast as they could. They ran to their chief. When they said that there was enemies the chief almost blew up. He ran out of the long house and shouted enemies! enemies are coming. He gave commands he yelled get the bows, get the arrows. The battle had started. People where running all over the place. Streaking Arrow and Moon-Shine ran into the woods. Finally Streaking Arrow's side won.

Five years went by Streaking Arrow was getting married to Moon-Shine. Before the wetting Streaking Arrow carved a wring and they lived happily ever after.
