One day a woman and her children were fishing. The woman seemed very nervous. The cause was her daughters were missing. Her family was worried. Her husband Eagle Man was out looking for them. She had had ten children. Her five sons were hunting with their uncle. Her older daughters were married and had cildren of their own. Her daughter Rosey nose was sick. And Little Lily and Bright Eyes were missing. Then Running Squirrel her youngest son came running. "Mama." "Yes what?" Papa found Little Lily's hair ribbon. "Oh, did they find her?" asked Mama. "Yes they did," said Running Squirrel with a sound of doubt in his voice. "Well let's go!" said Mama. "Well they found Bright Eyes," he paused, "but she was dead." "Was Little Lily dead?" "No, but Papa said we should come to the brookl When I left, wolves were coming from everywhere." "Come on." Mama grabbed her son and when they got to the brook everyone was gone. There was no trace of anybody.
