How Girls Got Long Hair

One rainy day like today, a girl named Tigerlily was walking down the Hudson River. Suddenly she came upon a strange man. She had never seen him before. She was very very scared. She didn't know what to do. He looked really strange. He was wearing a dark blue robe, light blue pants, and bluish purple shoes. He was just sitting on a big boulder. He was muttering something to himself. She came closer and closer to try and hear what he was saying. Finally she said "Hey what are you muttering?" But he just sat, paying no attention to Tigerlily. Suddenly the river started to overflow with water. A big gust of wind blew Tigerlily over. She dropped to the ground! Waves toppled over her until she was not to be seen. Two days after the storm she started to grow very long hair. Her family was amazed!! And that's how girls got long hair.
