Campus Sightings

The Bard Animal Rescue Department (B.A.R.D.) is an organization of volunteers who monitor the feral cat population in the Bard community. More than 30 feral and abandoned cats on campus have been caught using Have-A-Heart traps and, with the cooperation of sympathetic veterinarians and local humane societies, have been spayed or neutered. Finding homes for cats is very difficult. A number of the cats have been adopted; others have been treated and then released back on campus with ears notched.

We ask members of the Bard community to keep us informed about cats or other domestic animals sighted by filling out the form below. Thank you for your help!
