How Much Time Is Needed To Participate?
ISROP participation is similar to holding a part-time job. ISROP research assistants will work an average of six to ten hours per week for the entire academic year and will be remunerated concomitantly. Participants will also attend weekly seminars to discuss relevant background and related work presented in the primary scientific literature. Year-end visual and oral presentation of the projects are delivered at an annual research symposium for the Bard community, and the opportunity will be made available to present ISROP work at off-campus meetings. All expenses are covered by the program.

Compensation
Research assistants work an average of 6 to 10 hours per week in the laboratory and attend a weekly seminar. The assistantship provides an hourly wage to compensate for this time.

Who Can Participate In ISROP?
Any first- or second-year student is eligible to participate in ISROP. Students from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
