This course analyzes the
major financial decisions facing firms. Topics include capital budgeting, links
between real and financial investments, capital structure choice, dividend
policy, and firm valuation. Additional topics may include issues in value and
risk; debt financing, risk management; corporate governance; managerial
incentives and compensation; and corporate restructuring. Prerequisite: FIN
190. This
is a required course in the Economics and Finance Program and does not earn
academic credit towards the BA degree.
