Intersession Writing Conference for Seniors
This weeklong interdisciplinary writing workshop is designed for seniors who
have completed or are near completing research for their Senior Project. Seniors
will find this brief intersession course valuable for beginning to write or for
shaping and editing what they have already written. The workshops will focus
on: Intensive creative and critical writing, Completing a major section of
project writing, Completing a revised project outline, Devising a set of
strategies to keep up the writing, Providing a group of senior partners to work
with who are willing to respond to your writing.
HOW TO REGISTER: Contact Professor Nancy Leonard at
Registration on December 13, 2006. The workshop is limited to 12 senior
students on a first-come basis.
COST: The only cost is for on-campus housing during
the conference. TIMES: The Sunday evening class, January 21, begins at 7:00
p.m., and the workshop continues Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to noon
and 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in Olin 310.
